Two garage door companies. 765 calls answered, 1 in 4 of them after the office closed.
The problem
Garage door companies work on the road. Technicians are up ladders and under doors all day, and the calls that matter most don't wait for office hours: a door stuck open overnight, a snapped spring with the car trapped inside before work, a quote request from someone who only has time after dinner.
Without someone answering, those calls go to voicemail, and callers who hit voicemail often ring the next company instead.
What we set up
FirstVoice answers calls for both companies, day and night. It takes the caller's name, number, address and what's wrong with the door, and passes every enquiry to the team so they can pick it up straight away.
What happened
Over six months, FirstVoice answered 765 calls. About 214 of them came outside weekday business hours, including 1 in 8 on a weekend. Those are calls that would otherwise have reached a voicemail.
