Why speed matters

The first business to call usually wins the job.

People who fill in a form are often contacting several businesses at once. Calling back while they're still thinking about it gives you the best chance of booking them.

  1. 1

    A lead comes in

Someone fills in your Facebook Lead Ad, website form or Google Ads lead form.

  2. 2

    FirstVoice calls them

The lead gets a call typically within 60 seconds, measured from when it reaches FirstVoice, during your calling hours.

  3. 3

    It introduces itself honestly

It's set up to name your business and say it's an AI assistant calling about their enquiry. A recording notice can be added to the opening line.

  4. 4

    It qualifies and books

It asks your qualifying questions and books a time that suits, or takes a detailed message.

  5. 5

    You get the summary

The lead gets a text confirmation. You get a summary, transcript and recording.

Calling hours

Fast, but never at 10pm.

  • Default window: Monday to Friday 8am–8pm, Saturday 9am–5pm
  • Sundays and public holidays are off by default
  • You can narrow the window, but we never call outside 8am–9pm
  • After-hours leads get an instant text, then a call when the window opens

Consent built in

Done properly, from the form to the call.

  • We give you consent wording for your forms and Facebook Lead Ads
  • Every call names your business and says it's an AI assistant
  • Every text includes your business name and a working STOP option
  • We don't auto-call competition entries or free-download leads

Example form consent

“I agree to be contacted by phone and text about this enquiry, including by an automated AI assistant, and I understand calls may be recorded.”

FAQ

Questions about speed-to-lead.

How fast does FirstVoice call new leads?

New leads get a call typically within 60 seconds, measured from when the lead reaches FirstVoice. Facebook and other platforms can take a few minutes to send a lead through, which is outside our control.

Which lead sources work?

Facebook Lead Ads, website forms and Google Ads lead forms, plus any system that can send a lead instantly by webhook. Lead marketplaces that only release contact details after you accept a job can't be called instantly.

What happens with leads that come in at night?

They get an instant text letting them know you'll call, and FirstVoice calls them when your calling window opens. It doesn't call people late at night.

What if the lead doesn't answer?

FirstVoice follows up with a text and retries a limited number of times, based on rules we agree with you. It won't keep ringing someone who doesn't want to be called.

Is it legal to call leads automatically in New Zealand?

Calling someone who has just asked to be contacted about your service is generally treated as invited contact, but consent wording, calling hours, honest AI disclosure and opt-outs all matter. We build those in. This is general information, not legal advice.

How much does speed-to-lead cost?

It's an add-on from $297 a month on the Growth and Scale plans.
